Let me share my opinion with you. This is the part of the show that I am inclined to believe is the strongest. The visuals do this to you that they construct a world which is overly real. You almost start doing it yourself, looking around your own room, while the show is on. You do it just to be sure that there is nothing out of the ​‍​‌‍​‍‌ordinary.

The title of the show is Arrival. So, it’s expected that something or perhaps someone arrives. The whole episode is just a hint towards that. It is felt even before the arrival is seen. With each scene, the tension is getting higher. One’s breathing becomes slower. The eyes cannot leave the screen.

So, it is finally the moment. The arrival. A figure. A presence. A shadow, somehow, that is very heavy. One cannot look away. One does not want to blink. Ashish, out of fear, reacts. And, you, also, feel it. His fear is transformed into your fear.
